“Monster Hunt” is a game created to educate and protect children from this abuse.
A beginners booklet teaches children basic body safety and helps them create a safety network. Children are then presented with scenarios and play with their caregiver(s) to identify and capture “monsters.”
By using whimsical illustrations and masking the perpetrators as monsters, the game enables children to distinguish right from wrong in an engaging and playful way. It blends their detective skills with age-appropriate educational information and creates a platform for them to have crucial conversations with their caregivers.
