Maintain the daily operation of the concept shop within the guidelines of retail operating procedures including ringing up customer orders, assist in merchandising functions including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking and physicals, and merchandise pricing, assist in cash handling functions including POS system, registers and daily reporting, assist customers in suggestive selling and customer service, assure shop area achieves the highest standards in areas of cleanliness, presentation and service, replace misplaced items to the proper location. and participate fully in our company-wide environmental sustainability initiative, which includes, but is not limited to, recycling, waste reduction, and energy and water conservation.
Qualifications
Sales assertive, enthusiastic and excellent customer service skills.
Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
Good math skills as they apply to cash handling.
Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Must have excellent spoken communication skills - fluency in English and Urdu is a plus.
Must have ability to work independently as well as in partnership with a team.
Prior retail experience is a plus.

CONSULTING AND PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
a) Product photographer who is able to shoot product images ranging from shoes to jewellery on a plain white background
b) Social media expert to create interesting, engaging and beautiful images with graphics and/or text for social media posts.
Deliverables
- 30 products photographed on a white background, with two to three angles – front, back, closeup etc, delivered on a monthly basis
- 40 social media posts- images of products as per agreed mood board, delivered on a monthly basis
Other essential functions
- Work closely with the Polly creative team to translate marketing objectives into effective creative strategies and designs.
- Support in the creation of innovative, compelling, high-quality images for use in marketing materials, magazines/newsletters, website, etc. for the Polly community.
- Creation of consistently high-quality photography, including product and lifestyle photography.
Time Commitment
As required to submit agreed deliverables on time per month.
- Must include at least one day per week to come to the Lahore Concept Store and work with staff to decide on the best products to be photographed.
- Collect products to be photographed on white from the Concept Store and return them the next day.
- Submit social media content by the 5th of every month.

AUTUMN 2018 INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
GRAPHICS INTERN
Scope
To provide graphic and content development support to Team Polly. You will be part of a young, dynamic team dedicated to bringing artisanal craft products from the region to the rest of the globe.
Responsibilities
Design clear, engaging graphic communications materials for print and web. This will include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other materials as needed.
Work closely with a project team to translate messaging concepts into engaging graphics and marketing materials.
Qualifications
Be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop and/or other common design and layout applications.
Have a computer and access to graphic design and layout software as well as internet connectivity.
Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Must have ability to work independently as well as in partnership with a team.
Office space for this, and your own projects, can be made available from Monday to Friday.

COPY DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Scope
To provide written copy for polly & other stories' partner brands and support the development of marketing material around the same. Work with artisans and producers to come up with new product copy content as well as with Team Polly team to shape website content.
Responsibilities
Work with the creative team to conceptually think through and develop ideas.
Assist creative team with written content aligned with polly & other stories’ brand, style, tone of voice in multiple mediums (TV, short film, digital, social, mobile and print)
Edit and proof content during all phases of project.
Help us build a stronger company and provide a better service to all our customers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.
Ability to write content, copy, and messaging in variety of styles, voices and tones, adaptable to different target audiences, product categories and branding initiatives.
